Visit our Ship Store for the latest fundraising gear, gifts, and gadgets.

All proceeds go to funding the operation of our Ship.

All items are limited quantity.

All items are Sea Scout Ship 2 scout-led projects.

Does Ship 2 really need a fundraising project?

Yes! More than we care to admit. We have expenses linked to the operation & storage of our training vessel. Our SCUBA adventures are not cheap.

What you see in our store as scout projects turning into real items for you. Scouts are earning their own way.

If any contracts are to be signed, will they be signed by an individual, without reference to the Boy Scouts of America and without binding the local council, the Boy Scouts of America, or the chartered organization?

All contracts are signed by our Skipper with the agreement of the committee.

We do personalize some of our work with signatures.

Will your fundraiser prevent promoters from trading on the name and goodwill of the Boy Scouts of America?

What you see is what you get. Our fund raising is limited to things we design, produce, and market. Some things we have made for us -- like our patches -- using our designs. Some things are simply the labor we provide -- e.g. boat washing -- based on your contribution.

Will the fundraising activity uphold the good name of the BSA? Does it avoid games of chance, gambling, etc.?

If you want to gamble, look elsewhere. Our fundraising is something we do to survive / thrive as a unit. It is all about teaching the ideals and principals of BSA to our youth.

If a commercial product is to be sold, will it be sold on its own merits and without reference to the needs of Scouting?

Sure. That said, we do not have plans to offer commercial products because it is not what we do or need. Our online store has stuff that is practical clothing and/or collectable on its own.

We offer items from Ship 2 as fundraising where value you receive is paramount. We are not asking for donations.

Will the fundraising project avoid soliciting money or gifts?

We are not raising money for us or other organizations. We are not asking for gifts; The notable exception would be if we were to compete for a grant, but that is not what we are doing here. We are offering items that have value.

Does the fundraising activity avoid competition with other units, your chartered organization, your local council, and the United Way?

We are working with our CO and council to ensure we are okay. It is important to note that our fundraising efforts use global e-commerce scale.
