Who can join?

Anyone 14-20, willing to follow the code of conduct, eager to get on, in, and under the water.

What does it cost?

Our annual dues are $120. That covers BSA fees, council expenses, and ship expenses. After that, you pay for what you want to do. Scouts will also pay for their own Uniform.

I am not near you. Can I still join?

Ship 2 / Adventure serves Northern Virginia, along with other regional ships. If you are outside of that area, please see BeAScout.

I checked. There are no ships near me. What can I do?

Sea Scouts, BSA offers a program -- Single Handed Sailors -- serving scouts without a nearby ship. Alternatively, start a ship.
